Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026
These terms cover the Blythe Tables service: table hardware, the guest review page, manager alerts, and the owner dashboard.
The service
We put a tappable device on each of your tables. Guests who tap it can choose a star rating and continue to your public Google review page. Ratings of three stars or fewer (or two, if you set it so) send a text to the manager you’ve marked on shift. Every rating proceeds to Google; the service never withholds, reroutes, or conditions a guest’s review. Reviews written on Google are governed by Google’s terms, not ours.
Hardware
Hardware remains ours and is included in your subscription — install, mapping, replacements, and remaps. You agree not to open, reflash, or resell the devices. On-site remap requests are honored within 48 hours. If you cancel, we collect the hardware at no charge.
Billing
$30 per location per month, or $15 for founding restaurants (first 20 locations, for the life of the location). Month to month; cancel anytime from the dashboard or by writing to us. No setup fee under the founding offer.
The founding deposit
A founding spot is held by a $15 payment made at signup. That payment is not a fee on top of the price — it is your first month of service, paid in advance.
We install hardware once all 20 founding spots are taken, or by the date published on our pricing page if one is stated, whichever comes first. If no date is published and you would rather not keep waiting, write to us and we will refund the $15 in full.
Your first month of service begins on the day your hardware is installed, not the day you paid. Recurring billing begins 30 days after installation. If you cancel before that first month ends, no further charge is made. We do not charge for time spent waiting for installation.
If your payment clears but no founding spot remains, we refund it in full — we do not sell a 21st founding spot.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to solicit reviews dishonestly — no incentives for ratings, no pressuring guests, no using alert texts to discourage anyone from posting. We built the product so that isn’t possible from inside the software; don’t do it around the software either.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. We’re not responsible for the content of reviews guests write on Google, for carrier delays in text delivery, or for what happens table-side. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the last 12 months.
This is a plain-language draft for the v1 product and should be reviewed by counsel before general availability.
